All lectures, materials, and recordings remain the intellectual property of the user or the institution. Habitat Learn follows a 'Zero-Ownership' model and does not claim usage rights.

Are recordings used to train AI models?

No. Habitat Learn employs a strict zero-retention AI approach. Your data is never stored, shared, or reused to train AI models or third-party systems.

Does lecture data leave the classroom device?

By default, no. Our Podium Solution processes audio and captions directly on-device. Institutions maintain full control over whether data is stored locally (Podium Local) or synced to an encrypted cloud.

Is Habitat Learn HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant?

Yes. Our platform is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 aligned, ensuring that student and institutional data meets the highest global standards for security and privacy.
