How do you handle data privacy agreements?
We keep the process as simple as possible. If your institution already has a data privacy agreement with us, we'll work within that existing framework. If not, we'll collaborate with your team to establish and approve the necessary agreement before onboarding begins, ensuring everything is in place from day one.
Do I keep control of my lecture content and intellectual property?
Yes. You retain full ownership and control of your lecture content and intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of any recordings, transcripts, notes, or teaching materials created through the solution.
Where is my content processed?
Your content is processed locally, at the point of capture, on the in-room Mac mini. Lecture recordings are not sent to the cloud (unless requested) for transcription, note generation, or AI processing. This on-device approach provides one of the strongest privacy and security postures available for AI-powered classroom technology.
How long is the trial?
Trials run for a minimum of one academic semester. This gives instructors and students enough time to become familiar with the solution, integrate it into their teaching and learning, and generate meaningful feedback and outcomes.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no cost to participate in the Partner Development Program. We're working closely with institutions to co-create the solution, and your feedback helps ensure it's built around the real needs of educators, students, and IT teams.
What happens to student data and study spaces after the trial?
Student data remains private throughout the trial. We will never publish identifiable student information or individual study data. If we share findings from the programme, they will be anonymized and may include aggregated results, institutional insights, or testimonials only with permission.
Does the solution work with our existing AV equipment?
Yes. The Podium Solution is designed to integrate with most existing classroom AV systems. During onboarding, our team will assess your room setup and install the required hardware with minimal disruption. In most cases, no major changes to your existing AV infrastructure are needed. We can support you in procuring AV equipment, speak to us to learn more
What do you require in return?
Your feedback. The Partner Development Program is built around collaboration, so we ask participating institutions to share their experiences throughout the trial. This may include occasional check-ins, product feedback sessions, and the opportunity to participate in case studies or testimonials (with your approval). Your insights help shape the future of the solution and ensure it meets the needs of educators, students, and IT teams.
